It means a lot to my husband to come home to a well-planned meal, but the perpetual question of, "What are we having for dinner?" seemed like such a burden to me. Meal-time was often an unending rotation of the same ten to twelve dishes, or throwing something together quickly made from a hodge-podge of ingredients from the fridge and pantry.
